Have you ever tried the Turkish breakfast Bal Kaymak?
Kaymak is a dairy product not unlike clotted cream and itโs made with buffalo milk. Bal is honey and itโs poured on top of the kaymak. Itโs eaten with simit which is a local Turkish bread. I had white bread at home so I used that. But itโs such a delicious food. The bread is the perfect vehicle for the creamy kaymak that pairs beautifully with the sweet honey. 10/10 will recommend!
