Have you seen or made this viral olive oil caramel?

I decided to make it so you don’t have to. It’s basically an emulsion of maple syrup and olive oil. It’s like a sweet salad dressing. When you pour it on the ice cream you basically get an olive oil ice cream. Don’t use a neutral oil because it will be just like drinking oil. It’s not a caramel because none of those flavour notes are there. If you just pour the maple syrup on the ice cream that works too. But this is more like an interesting super high calorie ice cream topper.

The other thing is it’s not stable and it breaks after like 5min of sitting out. So overall it’s not really all that it’s made out to be.
